Asinamali!: Organising in the 1950s
This book will tell the story of SACTU from when it was formed in 1955, to when it stopped openly in South Africa in 1964. It looks at how SACTU unions organised workers in the factories. It looks at how SACTU was important in the political struggles of the time.
This book tells of hte important part that SACTU played in the history of worker organisation in South Africa, It also tries to show some of the problems in SACTU, and what workers can learn from the principles of SACTU.
