dissent

only

a

crucial

part

of

social

movement

activism,

but

is

also

a

key

area

of

social

movement

learning.

Over

the

past

8

years,

an

ongoing

participatory

study

of

social

movement

learning

in

Ada,

Ghana,

has

documented

the

ways

in

which

narrative

restorying,

as

well

as

the

creation

and

reviving

of

songs

in

Dangme,

the

Ada

language,

have

been

at

the

heart

of

this

learning.
