Education to strengthen Community Action

The underlying purpose of all PEP workshops has been to support and strengthen community action. In the past year we worked around power, organizing and mobilizing, patriarchy and gender,  facilitating participation – all with one aim in mind: to education and mobilise for transformation.

This is he final workshop for the year 2015 and we will pull together the ‘red threads’ that run through all previous workshops. We ask: How are individual struggles connected to social action? How do we strengthen self-reliance in a context of collective community action? Returning to the question on ‘praxis’ we consider: What is the role of education in action?
