"The Mozambican Network for Youth and Adult Education Advocacy—RAJANO, based in Pemba, is implementing an
initiative named “ Literacy for Old People empowerment " funded by Virginia Hazard Legacy Subcommittee of the NGO
Committee on Ageing—New York, with a grantee of USD3000 , from June 20016 to June 2017. RAJANO—The Mozambican
Network for Youth and Adult Education Advocacy is a member of the International Council for Adult Education (ICAE) and is
represented in the Executive Committee Board for the period 2015 to 2019. The initiative “Literacy for Old People Empowerment's implemented in partnership with the National Institute of Social welfare,( INAS) Delegation of Pemba, institution that take care of the vulnerable and marginalized old people. The initiative involves 1000 old people."
